As per policy of DSSSB, dossiers are not scrutinized by DSSSB. The scrutiny is done by User Department hence any correspondence regarding clarification/correction in respect of uploaded documents shall be done with User Department.

The information is given by E-mail/SMS to each respective provisionally nominated / waitlisted candidate regarding forwarding of his/her e-dossier. 

The Draft Answer Key is a preliminary version of the answer key released by the DSSSB shortly after the examination. It contains the answers to the questions based on the responses provided by the examination board. 

The Draft Answer Key is being  published on the official DSSSB website i.e. https://dsssb.delhi.gov.in. Candidate should make sure to check the website regularly for updates and download it from the link provided in this regard. If he/she believes that there is an error in the Draft Answer Key, candidate may submit his/her objections through the online objection form available on the DSSSB website, provide clear details and relevant documents in support of his/her claim. The submission period for objections is usually specified along with the release of the Draft Answer Key.

The Final Answer Key is the answer key released after considering objections and making necessary corrections.

Normalization of marks is a process being used to adjust scores based on the difficulty level of different question papers or shifts. It ensures fairness by balancing the variations in difficulty across different sets of papers. This process is conducted to provide equal opportunities to all candidates regardless of the difficulty level of their exam. Normalization is done using statistical methods to adjust the raw scores based on the difficulty of the question paper. Detailed information about normalization is available in the notice no. F.No.10(271)/Sec.Cell/DSSSB /18/989 dated 11.07.2018  available on the DSSSB website.

If any question is deleted, marking will be done from the remaining questions on pro-rata basis . 

There is no provision for re-evaluation of answer sheet.

The examination scheme for the posts advertised by DSSSB is published in the detailed advertisement notice(s) at DSSSB official website.

(i) The application fee for each post code examinations is Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred Only) (payable only in online mode), excluded for relaxed categories. 

 

(ii) Further, the women candidates and candidates belonging to Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe, PwD (PwBD), Sports person & Ex-serviceman category are exempted from paying any application fee.

 

(iii)Moreover, ex-servicemen who have already secured employment in civil post under Central Government/ Government of NCT of Delhi or its Autonomous/ Local Bodies on regular basis after availing of the benefits of reservation given to ex-servicemen for their re-employment are NOT eligible for fee exemption.

The Indicative Syllabus in respect of the posts advertised by DSSSB is readily available on the official website of DSSSB.

The minimum qualifying marks for all Examinations are published in the detailed advertisement for the respective post(s)/ post code(s) and the same is also re-iterated hereunder:-

 

(i)  The DSSSB, in order to achieve qualitative selection and to recruit the best talent available, has fixed the following minimum qualifying marks (wherever applicable) for different categories (UR/SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD/Ex-SM) :- 

 

General/EWS                : 40%

OBC (Delhi)                  : 35%

SC/ST/PH (PwBD)       : 30% 

 

  (ii) Ex-Servicemen will be given 5% relaxation in their respective categories subject to a minimum of 30%, if post is reserved for Ex-Servicemen.

(i)  The waiting /reserve panel is valid for a period of one year from the date of declaration of the main/ final result (The detailed information regarding revised waiting panel policy issued vide Services Department, GNCT of Delhi’s circular No. F. 16(3)/ 2007/ S-III/ 1756-1763 dated 02.08.2021 is available in public domain on the official website of DSSSB).

(ii) The waiting panel is 20% of the vacancies notified in the advertisement.

Candidate belonging to one of the reserved category can be recommended against an unreserved category vacancy if he/she meets the criteria adopted for the unreserved category candidates and does not avail any of  relaxations applicable to reserved category candidates.

No. The preference once exercised by the candidate at the time of online submission of his/her e-dossier will be treated as ‘final’ and is not allowed to change subsequently.

The criteria for reservation of OBCs in the jobs under GNCT of Delhi i.e. posts advertised by DSSSB are as per the Services Department (Branch-IV), GNCT of Delhi’s O.M. issued vide No. F. 19(02)/ 2011/ S.IV/ Vol. I/ 856, dated 31.05.2021. The same are reproduced as under:

 

  1.  An individual, who possesses OBC (Delhi) Certificate issued by the Revenue Department, Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi certifying that he/she belongs to a caste which has been notified as OBC by the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi, shall be entitled for the benefits of reservation to OBCs in civil posts in various Departments of Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi, irrespective of the fact that the said OBC (Delhi) Certificate has been issued with or without mentioning of old certificate issued to his/ her father, siblings and real uncles (paternal side only).

  2. An individual, who possesses the OBC Certificate issued by a competent authority outside Delhi, certifying his/ her belonging to a community duly notified as OBC by the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi, shall also be entitled for the benefits of reservation to OBCs in civil posts under Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi.  This certificate should have mandatorily been issued on the basis of OBC Certificate issued by Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi to his/ her father, siblings and real uncles (paternal side only) of the concerned person, who had been residing in Delhi before 8th September, 1993.

    The OBC (outside) candidates will be treated as Un-reserved candidates and they must apply under UR category. 

     

The OBC candidates must be in possession of non-Creamy layer certificate, along with his/ her caste certificate on or before cut-off date.

No. As per the policy of DSSSB, examination fee once deposited cannot be refunded under any circumstances.
