DSSSB is responsible for conducting competitive exams for recruitment, evaluating candidates through online/offline competitive exams, Skill Test /PET (Physical Endurance test, wherever applicable) and preparing a merit list. Further, the Board nominates candidates on provisional basis on merit (merit cum preference in Combined Examination).
The User Department is responsible for the verification of credentials, documents for checking eligibility, and issuing the offer/appointment letter. The User Department also ensures that the candidate fulfills all the required criteria prescribed for the relevant post as per RRs devised by them before confirming the appointment of selected candidates.
An applicant should log on https://dsssbonline.nic.in to access the home page of the online application.
The applicant is required to register himself/herself at Online Application Registration System (OARS) of DSSSB on URL: https://dsssbonline.nic.in with personal details alongwith class 10th roll number, valid email address & mobile number. Upon successful registration, candidate can apply for different posts by login using the Date of Birth and Class 10th roll number and passing year.
Separate registration is not required by candidates for different examinations conducted by DSSSB. If an applicant submits multiple registration and appears in the examination more than once, for same post code, his/her candidature will be cancelled and he/she will be debarred by the Board.
No. The candidate must submit his/her application through Online Mode only within stipulated time period . No other mode of application shall be accepted. Application sent through any other mode i.e. by post/by hand/by mail etc. will not be accepted and will be summarily rejected. Moreover, no application will be accepted in any mode after expiry of last date.
Once online application form is finally submitted, no request for change/ correction/ modification (including change of category) can be entertained under any circumstances. Candidate must check and ensure that they have filled correct details in each field of the online application form before submission of the online application.
It is specifically calculated on the basis of last date of submission of application forms/ closing date of Advt. or any other date prescribed by the User Department, as per details given in the advertisement.

(ii)Please check the properties of Photograph / Signature / Photograph ID. Resize them as per required specifications.
(iii)You may also use MS paint Application to resize image.
The candidate must take a print of acknowledgement form bearing the application number and fee receipt details, if applicable, in his/her case.
(i) The candidate who has successfully submitted his/her application form, can download his/her e-admit card from DSSSB website before the commencement of the examination.
(ii) The candidates are informed through SMS/E-mail on their registered mobile number/e-mail ID to download their e- admit card well before examination.
(iii) e-Admit Card is not being sent by post.
(i) Kindly click on ‘Forget Password’ link on OARS Login page and follow the instructions. Then an OTP will be sent at candidate’s registered mobile number/e -mail ID and then candidate may reset password.
(ii) DSSSB cannot change/edit/modify the contact details of any candidate and it is within candidate’s own login process.
Yes, reservations and relaxations are being provided as per the Advertisement of the respective post code. Reservations and relaxations are being provided as per the prevailing rules & regulations of the Government of NCT of Delhi and DoPT, GOI issued from time to time.
The policy for candidates obtaining equal marks is always mentioned in every advertisement published by DSSSB.
No. As per DSSSB policy, candidate’s raw marks cannot be disclosed.
If any candidate fails to submit his/her e-dossier within the stipulated time period, his/her candidature is liable to be cancelled.

The DSSSB is only a recruiting organization for conducting exams and provisionally nominates the candidates on the requisitions/RRs provided by the User Department. User Department issues offer of appointment letters to the candidates.
